All in a Day’s Work

Not much to update on today. I’ve been creating what I hope is a better home and work routine; setting aside time to write and create the comic a little bit at a time each day rather than trying to do one long creation sprint Tuesday before the comic needs to be posted. There’s always something that needs doing – dishes pile up, laundry spreads out like weeds sprawling through a flower bed, dinner needs to be made to fill loudly grumbling tummies, and all the while deadlines loom and slip on past.
This novel won’t get written unless I make time to write it. The comic will always be a last minute rush unless I work on it regularly. Building good creative habits helps set me up for success. In the event that something pops up unexpectedly like sickness or an emergency, these habits will help keep me sane.
Time to return to the grind.
